Greensboro, NC

Morgan is my sweet friend who was my housemate for a bit! Her and her husband lived with me and JL for a month when they were in between houses and it was seriously one of the best times having them around. Plenty of movie nights with popcorn and plenty of early mornings of coffee and homework.

They graduated and moved away, so when she told me she was in Greensboro for the week I drove down from Lynchburg and we had the best girls’ weekend with her little sister!

3 things from the weekend:

1. I got to go to Trader Joe’s for the first time and I cannot believe how much I have been missing out on not living near one of those!! I got some greenery for our house and lots of little treats.

2. I was also introduced to the card game Fruit Salad, and although I have never lost a game that badly in my whole life, it was so, so fun!

3. I used Monat at her house for the first time and my hair has never thanked me more. No mats, but curls stayed in tact…what more can you ask for??

Also, if you’re seeing this post you’re probably already on my newsletter, but if you’re not, head over to the right side of my page to sign up! That way you won’t miss a blog post. My sweet dad’s signed up and texts me every time he gets the email! Just wanting to let y’all know because I do not always announce on instagram when I post a new blog. A lot of posts, like this one, are short and simple and might not be too exciting, so I don’y always announce a post, but my blogs a place where I like to document real life, so I’ll have it to look back on as well 🙂

Life’s not always this or that trip, or this or that exciting thing, in fact it’s mostly not that at all, but all the sweet and simple, yet life-giving moments in between.

Super thankful though for this friend who will talk all things health and wellness, faith and fashion, as well as introduce me to Blundstones haha!

I’m so glad you got to visit a Trader Joes!! My boyfriend and I save so much money by shopping there and I love that their food never has preservatives! Their cookie butter is amazingggg (but so dangerous).

Mary Kate! What a sweet little post! Do you know where your friend and her sister got their necklaces from? I’m looking for some dainty pieces to add to my wardrobe! Also if you have any recommendations let me know! ?

  9. Heya this is kind of of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have
to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding
skills so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience.

Any help would be enormously appreciated!
