The Perfect Denim Shorts

Sadie, Bella, and I were talking the other day about how hard it can be for a girl to find a good pair of denim shorts.

They’re either too tight or too short or too something.

I get asked a lot on instagram where I get my jeans shorts, and so far these are my favorites I have ever had, so just wanted to hop on here and share with you guys. I know summer is coming to an end (sadddd) but that means you might find some one sale! Plus if you live anywhere like I do, you’ve still got plenty of warm days left to wear shorts 🙂

1. My vintage Riders.

I found these at a thrift shop and they are my favorite. They are vintage though, so I can’t really direct you to a store for these. They are high-waisted and a little baggy in the legs which is what I prefer. They are Riders. So maybe hop on Etsy or keep an eye out in thrift shops.

2. My Levi’s.

These are some Levi’s and I have really been liking them lately. I’f I am wearing a bigger or baggier shirt, my high-waisted ones don’t always work. 9/10 times they are perfect, but these Levi’s are awesome when I don’t wish to tuck my shirt in. I actually bought these a size too big, and I think now they may be more like 2 sizes too big. They sit low on my hips and are bigger in the legs, but more of a straight down cut then my Riders. Great for a flowy-er top or big t-shirt.

3. My “boyfriend shorts.”

I got these on Poshmark and they’re Madewell, but they’re a boyfriend fit and a bit longer for when you need something longer. I wore these when we were serving in Guatemala and they were great. I think I ordered these a size up too so I could cinch the waist with a belt.
