Can’t really think of a better way to start off the new year than how we did!!
John Luke and I spent New Year’s Eve watching our friends Jared and Kelsey get married in Quincy, Illinois and then danced the night away at the reception.
Jared’s little sister is one of my best friends, Rachel, so after not seeing her for several weeks it was really fun to be reunited! Sunday, the day after the wedding, we spent the day with Rachel, Seth, and her sister, Abby. It was one of those low-key days that end up being a memory you’ll hold onto forever.
We laughed and drank coffee and played Scattegories (idk how I haven’t played this game before…I am obsessed and am about to go pick it up at the store). We saw their horses and everyone, except me taking the pictures, took a swing on the rope swing above the FREEZING cold water at the creek.)
Just being around this group I learn so much about life: taking risks, love, humility, kindness, selflessness, and how important it is to be in The Word daily. They make me want to be the best version of myself. Plus we never stop laughing.
Been getting a lot of questions lately about my pictures/ what camera I use…thinking about doing a post on that SO…any questions just leave them in a comment on this post!
