I realize I haven’t posted in a while, but I have really been meaning to! I see your sweet comments you leave on my past posts, and your comments on instagram asking when I’ll post again, and it means so much to me that people are being encouraged by this blog.
I owe it all to God…I can’t take any glory.
SO…as winter is arriving I thought I would show y’all what life has looked like this fall in the Robertson household.
During fall break in October, we took a trip to meet my family in one of my favorite places in the world- Pagosa Springs, Colorado. My parents have a cabin there and we have been going to Pagosa since I was 8 years old. In the winter, Wolf Creek is a great place to ski, and in the summer the hikes are beautiful. I always thought summer was my favorite time to go, but now after going in the fall I have definitely changed my mind because nothing can beat the leaves changing colors!
JL and I arrived in Durango before my family (the closest airport) and due to the fact we are under “rental-car-renting-age” aka 21, we had a day to kill in Durango.
But we finally made it to Pagosa that night.
Someone was really happy to see JL.
The next day we went on a hike to Piedre Falls.
One of Teagon’s happier moments of the day haha.
The Liberty students just had to get a picture in front of the Liberty Theatre downtown!
October 11 was JL’s birthday! Yay!
We had a USA themed breakfast b-day party to start off the day.
I don’t know who had more fun…the big boy or the little boy…you tell me.
Then we went on a birthday hike to Treasure Falls. One of my absolute favorites. I can remember climbing up the rocks as a 10 year old thinking I was such a cool nature girl haha, but as a 19 year old I was about to have an anxiety attack thinking I was about to slip.
Also, take a look at the McEacharn Christmas card for 2015!
Day 3 called for yet another hike. Another favorite…Opal Lake
T learning to use the Go-Pro.
Dad getting in on the fun!
When life gives you a nature see-saw…
…you play on the nature see-saw.
And when your sister thinks she is Katniss…
…but…
…quickly remembers she’s nots..
you laugh..and laugh some more.
But don’t worry Kel, dad’s got ya!
Baby T had a long day.
(if you just fell head over heels in love with this place, my parents rent their cabin out, so check it out here and book your trip to pagosa…you’ll LOVE it )
Our time in Colorado had to come to an end, BUT then it was time to head to Nashville to see the Robertson side of our family.
They surprised us with birthday bowling!
Then to watch Sadie present at the Dove Awards…
she was incredible.
Then it was back to Lynchburg.
Came back to friends and….MORE HIKING.
One of mine and John Luke’s favorite things about Liberty is Convocation. Three days a week the entire school gathers together to hear different speakers. It really is such a blessing. We get to hear the most incredible people…from authors to preachers to actors to Fox News Anchors to presidential candidates… you name it! But whats most fun is when one of our friends comes to speak! That week in particular Jefferson Bethke was in town. (He does spoken word and is an author..check our Jesus>Religion…so great!) So we took him to the mountains for a good time.
John Luke’s silly side.
Then we celebrated Laura and Wesley getting married!
And got down at the reception hehe
A few weeks went by and I just really needed to get home for a little while…so I went…
and it was so good. Time spent with family is time very well spent.
Went home in time for a Ben Rector concert…he’s the real deal guys…check out his music…you will become obsessed.
Then it was time for a road trip. JL and I had a 2 night event, so we packed our bags and threw them in the car…along with our friends!!
Chattanooga.
And then Atlanta.
And a Sunday morning at Passion City Church.
Then we had a really special convo…
including…
Ben Carson!
and…
the secret service!
A few weeks went by and then it was time to travel home for Thanksgiving break…praise the Lord!
Mom and T were the only ones in town the day we got in, so they picked us up and we have a wonderful weekend in Delhi with those two…plus a lot of kitties.
We headed over to West Monroe and I got to see Brighton for the first time in months!
The next few days were filled with homemade pizza, pottery-making, and research paper-writing.
and Emma Jenkins. Thank God for Emma Jenkins.
We had three Thanksgiving meals.
I am sure I gained like 5 pounds.
Meal #1
night before Thanksgiving with the Robertson side
Meal #2
Thanksgiving lunch with the Howard side
including a million pictures and learning how to “hit the Quan”
Thanksgiving night was spent decorating the tree!!
and she is my favorite little elf in the whole wide world ๐
post thanksgiving we tried to get in some exercise before thanksgiving meal #3 in Delhi with my side of the family haha
LOVE THESE PEOPLE
I have GOT to share a few of these because I know Kel won’t.
But Kelly asked me to take some Senior pictures for her over break. Besides the hundreds of mosquito bites we received we had a blast-just me and her.
And yea, she’s a babe.
But this is what we’ve been up to lately! And YES we do go to school despite what some people have thought haha. We even work for our school too. We love it. We love our friends, our co-workers, our professors.
Reasonably priced is right up my alley! I have my dads nikon, but it's such a hassle to carry around, the lens is just too much for my little adventures. Thank you!
I am an older admirer (I'm 38). You inspire me to be me – not the person the world thinks I should be. I see God in you, Mary Kate, and I pray my little boy is an inspiration to others as you are. He's 4 and we talk about God everyday. Thank you for not conforming to this world and for sharing your faith in Him in every action you take. Love you!
Mary Kate, you are a bright light in this world. I don't even know you personally but I can tell that God's love and joy shines through you! Thank you for spreading that joy and love through your blog!
You are beautiful! Thank you for sharing your life through simple posts. You are a role model to me and I know for many other young ladies. I hope one day we can meet
Thank you for sharing and being such a light! So thankful for you and your family and the heart you all have for the Lord! You are such an encouragement to me in so many aspects of my life and just wanted to say thanks ๐

Is T your little brother? For the longest time, I thought he was your sister's baby but after following the blog, I think I'm wrong. What an age gap, huh?!?…if I'm right, I guess.
I loved this, I loved this, I loved this!!! Y'all are so beautiful and seem so sweet!! I just love how encouraging your blog is MK! Please keep posting when you find the time! I love your posts!!! <3 xoxo
Also, I'm assuming you painted that vintage vw bug with the christmas tree on top, on that plate?! I would love to buy more paintings like those from you if you ever decided to make some to sell! It was adorable!!! ๐
I absolutely love seeing your pictures and reading about your life with JL. I adore y'alls passion for Jesus and love when you share about him. We are the same age but you are still my role model! Thank you so much for sharing, I really look forward to reading your blogs! I wish more girls were like you. God Bless.
I absolutely love reading your blog and seeing your Instagram posts! We have a lot of things in common. I'm 19 and a student at the University of Alabama. I'm getting married on the beach in August in Gulf Shores at sunrise to my love. I'm also obsessed with T Swift and Ben Rector. Oh, and I'm on a GF diet too โ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ธ. Thanks for all of your posts. You and JL are so encouraging to Jason and I and you're such a great and "real" role model to young girls as well. Oh and you're gorgeous too! (Okay, fan girl rant over.)
Speaking of being GF, what's your favorite brand of GF bread? I've was put on a GF diet over a year ago now, but I still haven't found bread with the right texture. I'm always up for trying other people's favorites. ๐
I look up to you so much! I am 22 and a new Christian (2 years). I love reading your blog, it inspires me to live fully for God because I see that in you! Thank you for writing this for us all to see.
What a fun fall!! Thanks for the update ๐ That's awesome y'all get to do so much traveling while in school and that's so neat you got to hear Ben Carson speak!!
First off, I am a huge fan of yours! I absolutely love everything that you stand for and you are truly an inspiration!
I am commenting to tell you about an organization that myself and a great group of ladies just started at the University of Missouri, Kansas City called Love Your Melon.
Love Your Melon is an apparel brand run by college students across the nation all on a common mission to give a hat to every child battling cancer to keep their melons warm during treatment. We want to see pediatric cancer demolished completely and we are working towards that goal by donating 50% of net proceeds on every item sold to the Pinky Swear Foundation and CureSearch.
Love Your Melon has over 320 campus crews nation wide, and they recently challenged us to see what crew could get the most celebrities in our mission! My crew would be honored to have you support our mission! We will send a care package with Love Your Melon hats and all we ask is that you post a picture or video wearing it on your social media platforms. This would help spread awareness of Love Your Melon, thus donating the most amount of money we can to the Pinky Swear Foundation and CureSearch to make the biggest impact we can. If you would be interested in joining our mission, we would love to send a package! All we need is valid contact information and a shipping address. This will stay completely confidential and will only be shared with Love Your Melon Headquarters as they will send out your package. Thank you so much for your time. We hope to hear back from you soon.

Hey girl! I have been a long time reader, but this is the first time I've commented. I just had to let you know what a blessing it has been to my fiance' Sam and I to see you and John Lukes relationship! Our stories are VERY similar (Its almost creepy!) but I'll spare you the details for times sake haha. Like yall we are a young couple (both 20) striving for a Christ centered relationship, and being that isn't a popular trend with couples our age its so awesome for us to watch you guys inspiring others and growing in The Lord together. Hope to run into yall sometime in the future, good luck with finals and have a Merry Christmas! Love from Alabama, Mallory <3
An amazing post! I absolutely love seeing the little notification pop up because these are always something to look forward to. And your photos are spectacular. I know someone has already mentioned it in another comment, but have you thought about having a post where you discuss your photography?
I am glad you had a good time! I love seeing all your post and pictures, you are such an inspiration to me and I hope to meet you at liberty or around lynchburg someday! I hope you and you husband have a beautiful day, love always Rachel!:)
You're such an inspiration to me! I got married young just like you only in 2014! We're about the same age I think! It's really neat to see you and John Luke both going to college together, and being supportive and still in awe of the Lord together! I pray and hope that one day my Husband and I can go to school and be just as supportive and happy as y'all seem! (We've gotten caught up in God's plan with our beautiful baby boy!) You've inspired me to write my own blog and in a way my blog helps me get extra quiet time with the Lord, and reaching out to all my friends! So thank you! (I also noticed that you signed "I love you" in one of your IG posts and now I really love catching up on your posts and reading your blog!) You're awesome! & my inspiration! I hope one day I'm blessed to meet you ๐ -Rachel M. White
Ok so I'm new to this blogging and I wrote you a long comment but I'm not sure where it went. Haha oops. But I will type it again. I'm 36 years old and just wanted to tell you that you inspire me and I pray that my boys will grow up and live a life like you and JL. Following the Lord and just being good people. I wrote a book called "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" by Crystelle Dyer. It's about my life before Jesus and how he delivered me and rescued me from destruction. It was more written for the younger generation so I hope you can check it out. You can get it on Amazon.com or Barnes and Noble.com or directly from my publisher at Tatepublishing.com. Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful families! God bless you!!
I don't mean to take up your time, but I was wondering–how do you like Liberty? Me and my future husband are looking into attending there once we get married! We just live all the way in Vancouver, WA so it's kinda scary thinking about moving there and not being able to live on campus and such!!! Is it as God centered as its portrayed?? (I sure hope so ๐ )
I love you so much MK. I live in Tennessee:)) I love your family && your little brother!! I just wanted to say thank you for being you / the godly person everyone needs in their life;)) bc I know for sure you have impacted my life with all that you do;)) thank you for being you! and also. how do you like it at Liberty??
I'm also an older admirer. You and JL remind me of a me and my husband when we were first married. We met on a mission trip early in our college years, married young, and now have 3 boys almost 14 years later. Your lives are such amazing examples in our world right now. I pray that our 3 remain humble and shine bright like you guys. Funny thing- my husband's family has had a cabin in Pagosa Springs since he was a little one. We live in Mississippi, but road trip there at least twice a year. We've traveled all over, but it is by far the most special place to our family. Keep shining!
MK, do you take requests for blog posts? I love, love, love your blog and patiently await each new post. You are an incredible woman of God, and your posts inspire me to live out my own faith in God in extraordinary ways, so thank you for that. I wanted to request you making a blog post of your favorite books/ or just book suggestions in general. ๐ Thanks for being you, regardless of what you do with this request. Much love, Halee
Family time is always a fun time and I can clearly see that. I am glad that I found your blog and had a great time reading it. I am going for a Tour of San Francisco this vacations with my family and looking forward to make memories for lifetime.
Good photo story. Emotions are in your hand! That's why I love the occasional photos. It can show real people faces, their feelings. These photos like a rip off the mask, and people can see their real faces. I advice you to use photoshop http://hdreditingsoftware.com/psplugin/ and add some interesting effects.
Hello, My Names are Sabrina Morris, I am from Marion Iowa, This is a testimony about a Spell Doctor named Great Malawi via meiismcenter@gmail.com, that restored my hope and gave me reasons to love my life again. It was my first time to order for a spell or spiritual help because I donโt believe in them; my religion forbids spells or witches. I had no choice than to connect with the Great Malawi when my Husband-To-Be and my Baby Father left me because he was sleeping with my friend. I tried everything possible to win him back physically but he resisted all my efforts until I decided to go spiritual, but I needed higher power thatโs why I connected with the Great Spell Cast of Malawi. He proved to me that his spell is not evil and itโs 100% genuine and last for eternity. He was an angel to me and my family during the process of the spell until he finally brought my Baby back as promised. He told me that my Babyโs spirit was distracted towards me and the world, so he called back his spirit and made him remember who he really is and how we started and also the promises he made to me and our child. The Great Malawi is a savior of our time and we should all benefit from his spiritual gifts. Thank you the Great one for giving me my own testimony. He will help you find the man or woman of your dreams if you try him. Connect with him via meiismcenter@gmail.com
So much love and fun at this photos. You should make a collage of them, I'm pretty sure it will look great. But first, edit them a bit, make it HDR or something to give them more fancy style, there are a lot of tools which may help you to do that. Personally, I got lucky in Auroras' giveaway last April https://aurorahdr.com/giveaway-terms-conditions and now I'm waiting for my trip to make the same photo collection:)
I LOVE READING YOUR BLOG POSTS! I haven't checked in a while so there were several new ones to read and I got so excited! Your pictures are always amazing. Also, I absolutely love your top that says "LIFE. nailed it!" Thank you for letting us take a peek inside your life! <3
